FC DALLASTOWN TRYOUTS
We are FC Dallastown, a soccer club located in York, Pennsylvania with a mission to develop our youth through the sport of soccer.
FC Dallastown Soccer Club is committed to the development of your young athletes. Our goal is to foster the development and growth of the player holistically through strong programs and dedicated coaches, using soccer as a way to teach life skills such as leadership, teamwork, dedication, and courage.
FC Dallastown Soccer Club offers different levels of play to ensure each player can learn, grow, be challenged, and have fun. We want every player to have the chance to play soccer and we do everything we can to place players on a team when they tryout for FC Dallastown. We have teams from age 5 to 16 (both boys and girls) and have ~500 players and ~1400 members in our organization. We take pride in our club having one of the best values in organized soccer in the area!
Tryouts – What to Expect
- First you will need to register your child for tryouts (ONLY FOR U9 to U17).
Anyone playing U9 (2015 birth year) and above must register for tryouts, including players that are currently rostered on a FCD team. Tryouts will be held at York Township Park and Stump Memorial Park. Tryouts begin on April 21, 2024. Please refer to our tryout schedule for dates, times and locations.

- Then you will attend tryouts on your specific assigned date and time (see table below). During tryouts your player will be assessed by one or more of our coaches that currently coach teams at your player’s age level. The coaches will use their knowledge and experience to evaluate your player to best understand what would be the proper team placement for the player’s continued development.
- Within 2 weeks (or sooner) after the tryout you will receive communication from one of our coaches on your player’s offer. This will include the specific commitments required for the team they are being offered a position on.
- Once your player’s offer is received, you will have 48 hours to accept and register your player via the link provided by the coach. This allows those spots that are declined to be offered to other players in a timeline manner.
